Don’t rush, talking fast in front of a group of people that you are not familiar with might just have you garbling numbers and players won’t understand what bingo number lingo you are using. Keep a drink nearby, preferably an alcoholic one, it will help calm your nerves as well as your dry throat.

Shake the numbers well, this is generally more for effect and the players seem to believe that it adds and air of credibility or fairness to the game about to be played.

Most bingo players believe that if you call up consecutive numbers it is your fault, so if this happens, give a little shake of your heat and make a “tut” noise, your bingo players with sympathize with you.

Explain to the bingo players that the onus is upon them to ensure that they have a valid ticket, they must check that each ticket has three rows of five numbers totaling fifteen, and that all the numbers are different.

Make it clear to your bingo players that the “house” must be called on the number that completes their ticket or they will forfeit the prize.

Most of all though, just have fun.
